Designpressure— the pressure, including MAWP, static head, and external vacuum, as applicable, corresponding to the coincident design metal temperature, used in the calculations for determining the physical characteristics (such as minimum permissible wall thickness) of the shell.
Designreferencetemperature— the temperature at which the vapour pressure of a non-refrigerated liquefied gas en a tank is determined for the purpose of calculating the design pressure or the MAWP (as applicable).
DesignReviewAgency— the person. corporation, or partnership, independent of the manufacturer. registered with the Director pursuant to Clause 9.1.2 to review the design of any UN portable tank for compliance with this Standard.
DesignReviewEngineer— the person, corporation, or partnership registered with the Director pursuant to Clause 9.1.2 to review the design of a UN portable tank that has a minimum test pressure of 150 kPa or less, that is intended for solid or liquid dangerous goods of Class 1 or Classes 3 to 9, and that does not meet the definition of “containers within the terms of the IntemationalConventionforSafe Containers,1972, as amended, for compliance with this Standard. The Design Review Engineer may be an employee of the Tank Designer or the tank manufacturer.
DesignReviewer— the Design Review Agency or the Design Review Engineer (as applicable) who reviews the design of a UN portable tank for compliance with this Standard, and who issues the Design Approval Number and Design Approval Certificate of a UN portable tank design.CSA B625-13 pdf free download.
