The provision of a clearly marked pressure gauge showing the approach to the rated capacity, visible from the operator’s station, will fulfil the function of a rated capacity indicator for these cranes.
5.6.1.2 If the rated capacity is lower in sectors of the slewing range the crane shall be provided with slew limiters. These shall operate to override the controls of the crane when attempting to slew into this sector with a load higher than the rated capacity or lift loads above the rated capacities within the sector.
